Current Wiring Diagrams

Welcome! Here you will find wiring diagrams for use with custom control cavity designs on my bodies. These are meant to illustrate my recommended wire layout for east of installation. You can adapt thees to your own needs, such as push-pull pots for coil splitting.
Further down you will find a sampling of my original design wiring diagrams dating back to 1999. Many were designed around Super Strat or Tele constraints with limited space - 1 blade switch and two pots in small cavities, often attached via pickguard or control plate.

2 Humbucker + Freeway Ultra 6 Position Toggle + 1 Volume + 1 Tone Diagrams

Introduced in 2013, over 10 years later the Freeway Ultra remains a unique product. It's the only truly customizable switch in a large toggle form factor. Plus it doubles the total sounds available from 3 to 6. It's a great option for adding verstaility to guitars with a Toggle and only 2 Pots instead of rotary switches or push-pulls which can be awkward to adjust during live performance.
Unless otherwise noted all 2 Humbucker diagrams :
* require 4 conductor plus shield leads to achieve coil split and/or out of phase combinations in positions 2 & 4
Rev C : Seymour Duncan : Half Out of Phase (Hollow) : Inner Coils Series : Series Out of Phase (Screaming Wah)

3 Pickup + 5-Way Super Switch + 1 Volume + 1 Tone Diagrams

These circuits were designed for guitars I built with atypical 3 pickup layouts, such as Firebird Neck, Soapbar Middle, Humbucker bridge. These can be adapted to any 3 pickup guitar.
Rev C : 10 usable sounds : all 7 parallel combos : Half Out of Phase (Raw) : selective tone control: Series Out of Phase (Wah Scream) Solo Switch
